Mac does not connect to wireless?

Having trouble connecting your mac to a wireless network.

Here is a quick solution that I found while I tried to connect my mac to a network running off a Dlink G604T Router.

I used a WEP password and all worked well with my PCs. BUT… if you put a $ in front of your WEP password it all works on a MAC too.
