The Portugese style chicken food joint, Nandos, has recently released another in it’s series of “fix” ads.

I was shopping with a female co-worker and a friend of hers last week and they both said that they were offended by it? OK, I could understand if they were victims of oppressive inequality and were unable to be considered equals in a workplace dominated by men… but they are both very capable, talented and intelligent women in their mid 20’s doing very well in their chosen profession.

Admittedly I find it offensive too, but only to my intelligence and not my morals.

So this begs the question. Is GenX wedged between 2 much larger generations of morally oppressive conservatives? Former free love hippy now new born moralist Baby Boomers on one side; and former “fuck buddy” it’s all about me now career focused GenY.

I don’t know what the problem is but it sure as hell isn’t we lazy GenX’s.
