Being a Sydneysider
All Posts, My Life, Rants|-
I love living in a city where:
- You can go to a cafe and order a babycinno for your toddler
- Paul Basset, former world champion barista, rates the diversity and quality of coffee the best in Australia
- Where a local beach is crammed with everything from backpackers to pensioners, surfers, topless milfs and families.
- There is a pub on every corner and most close late and open early.
- Acceptance of sexuality in all it’s forms enriches the city
- Cloudless winter days are as beautiful as summer days elsewhere
- There is so much greenspace in and around the city that you can walk barefoot on the grass whenever you want
- Have a harbour as beautiful as it’s famous
- The beaches face open ocean and not some skanky harbour
- Weekend art/craft markets are packed with people from all walks of life
- One of the world’s top 5 restaraunts is in the heart of town
- Multicultural food abounds
- Fashion is as eclectic as the population is

Fair calls then
I have never been to tetsuyas, 10 courses sounds excessive! I wonder what coffee they serve?

I actually heard that the coffee is pretty ordinary, howver I haven’t been there either… yet.
I would love to see a review written up by somebody with more time than I have on CafeGeek.

I have never been to a restaurant that serves above average coffee. A shame. Love the CafeGeek site btw! I have been wanting to do that for a long while, but I have too many projects these days to consider starting another. I have a queue! Damnit
Wish I had more time

I find it so bizarre that in Sydney you can recieve a first time fine of $200 for fair evasion on a public bus, whereas if you speed 15km over the limit the fine is $77. Honestly, what’s the government trying to say? That fair evaders are more dangerous than people who speed?!?!

hehehe, no. Just that they are easier to catch.
