Scoble is like so, 2004!
I’ve talked endlessly how many of the A-List bloggers have become parodies of themselves, no longer breaking news rather than rehashing news. Well it seems that the rest of the world (mainstream media) has finally cottoned on to fact and are now talking about the new generation of bloggers.
Trevor Cook points to an article on The Age about the ascendancy of new gen Y bloggers and their rising relevance in the space.
It’s interesting firstly that what is essentially a hobby to many and an all encomapssing passion for others is making news like this. I still remember people saying that it was only a fad and that it would die out… blog numbers are still growing, and in my opinion the blog market is maturing and fragmenting into niches that don’t need 50 A-Listers but can support many more niche-masters.
