Wow… in a press release that I saw over at digg.com it seems that Nikon is pulling all but 2 of it’s analog cameras and concentrating solely on digital. Nikon states that 95% of it’s business is in digital. It’s a pity as I still believe that analog photos have a certain soul… a warmth that is lacking in digital.

I suppose there is solid business reasoning behind the move and we all saw it coming with the discontinuation of black and white film stock a while back but it still saddens me enough to jump on my penny farthing and ride to the local store to buy an antique.

Having said this I haven’t used my analog camera for 5 years.
