We’ve seen bushfires, glorious sunny days, stifling humidity, crystal clear waves, eucalypt laden forests, and a +47 degree day here in Australia. We have BBQ’d with friends and family, have shopped much more than we can afford, have drunk awesome Sydney coffees, eaten at our favourite eateries and sadly now it is time to go home to Canada.

Australia has been good to our souls while we have been here for 4 weeks and we have watched our little boy flourish under the southern sun. So as as we now prepare to pack our bags and fly out in a couple of days the cool southerly change has moved in and the skies are clouding over.

Australia our country. Sydney our city. All our friends and family. We love all of you and can’t wait to come back again. As a boy from Marickville once said:

We “love yous all!!”
