I had a question from a friend recently about frothing jugs for making coffee. The person in question asked “Does a 12oz frothing jug contain 12oz of froth or milk?”

My answer was that it is a measure of volume for the jug itself and gave the example that one would put 4oz of milk into the jug for 10oz of froth. Am I wrong?
